About Amy Winehouse

Amy Jade Winehouse was born in 14 September 1983 in London. She is an English singer-songwriter, recognized for her eclectic mix of a variety of musical types as well as soul, jazz, rock ‘n’ roll and rhythm and blues.

Her musical arrangement went through pay attention to such jazz divas as Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday and Sarah Vaughan; she was later prejudiced by contemporary metropolitan well-liked music as well. She symbolized a union of these aesthetics and of her writing (she composes her music herself): a happy cooperation and fusion of ’40s jazz, ’60s soul and hard texts stimulated by daily life.

It has been said that Amy is working on new album that should be released sometimes during 2009. However, due to her personal problems, it’s still unknown will the album be released during this year. Also, various sources revealed that her producers and friends find her new lyrics depressing and they don’t know how the album will come out.
