Amy Winehouse has taken place in post-mortem examination of the death

Amy Winehouse's father Mitch visited her house on Monday morning and thanked fans for their support.

The singer has taken place in post-mortem examination of the death.

There have been no deaths, while an inquest into her death was opened and adjourned until 26 October.

The singer's death body was found at her home in Camden, north London on Saturday, Police said the singer died at the age of 27 was "unexplained".

Her father Mitch thanked fans for their tributes saying: "I can't tell you what this means to us. It really is making this a lot easier."

Visiting his daughter's home, he added the loss left him "speechless".

Mitch Winehouse told fans gathered in Camden Square, "Amy was about one thing and that was love. Her whole life was devoted to her family and her friends and to you guys as well".

The singer's mother and brother visited the site, flowers, cards, photos, and laid in tribute to the fans to see.
